Lavender essential oil is like having an entire medicine cabinet in a small easy to carry bottle.  It is versatile and has infinite uses.  Young Living Lavender essential oil is therapeutic grade and pure.  It is not made using chemicals, which can be harmful.  It is not extended or adulterated and no synthetics are added.

Ways to Use Young Living Lavender essential oil:

For Calming or Sleep

  • Put a few drops in bathwater
  • Pour 2 drops in the palm of your hand and then rub into the soles of your feet
  • Pour a few drops in your palms and then smooth over your pillow
  • Rub under your nose, or on the back of your neck
  • Put 2 -10 drops in a 00 capsule or fill it halfway and take the capsule 1 hour before bedtime.  (Remember, only use therapeutic grade Young Living essential oils for ingestion)

Burns—Relieves pain and helps burns to heal

Cuts—Stops the bleeding, disinfects, helps to heal and minimizes scarring

Skin Conditions—acne, rashes, eczema, irritated skin, itching skin

Sunburn—put several drops in a spray bottle with water, shake and spray on sunburns.  To cover a larger area, mix the Lavender oil with Young Living V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex in the palm of your hand and apply over the sunburn

Coldsores—helps with pain and healing

Insect bites—alleviate itching and swelling

Hayfever—apply a few drops in the palms of your hands and cup your hands over your mouth and nose and inhale deeply several times

Diffuse—Use a diffuser to disperse the essential oil into the air

Headaches—inhale it, apply to temples, forehead, over sinuses and back of neck

Nausea—apply a few drops to your abdomen

Motion Sickness—put a drop or 2 on your tongue, on your navel and behind your ears

Nosebleed—place a small chip of ice on a small piece of tissue, apply a few drops of lavender essential oil and put it underneath your upper lip

Blocked tear duct—apply to the bridge of the nose

Deodorant—take a few drops and apply under your armpits

Freshen laundry—apply a few drops to a wet washcloth and toss into the dryer with your laundry–much safer than chemical freshener.

Linens—put a few drops on a cotton ball and store with your linens.  Also helps repel insects.
