Ebola. That single word strikes fear in even the calmest of people. This deadly disease can lurk in the stranger next to you and no one will know until the symptoms manifest. The majority of us are not prepared to deal with the disease—but it’s time to face the facts. We have to prepare for emergencies like this now.
Too many people relied on the government’s reassurance that Ebola was not a big deal—until the first case hit America. Then, it came to light through news reports that this man had denied having contact with anyone sick with Ebola before he traveled here. Then it came out that he lied. Now, we have Ebola here.
You can’t afford to be unprepared. This disease is unpredictable. Your life and the lives of your family depend on everyone being prepared. The first thing you can do is to have face masks on hand for everyone.
And don’t get the cheap ones. They allow droplets of moisture to get around the seal. These droplets of moisture could be from an infected person.
You need the N95 masks.
The 3M Particulate N95 Respirator with Valve (made by a company that knows how to deal with contaminants) cuts your risk of exposure to the Ebola virus.
An ordinary dust filter mask just won’t do. You have to have these respirator masks because of the higher protection standard. You want a mask that has a respirator valve.
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has approved the N95 Respirator mask with Valve for its efficiency and excellence in its ability to protect people who wear it.
This mask is specifically designed to protect from the particulates that are in the air. These particulates are the droplets that someone with the Ebola virus sneezes or coughs or even vomits into the air. These particulates can hang suspended in the air for 10 minutes, and you could walk right through it and inhale it, even at some distance. This is how the virus can spread.
Features of this mask are:
- Designed for comfort as well as safety
- Keeps moisture and heat at bay—you are protected against fogging
- Has a bendable nose piece for a customized fit
- The straps don’t tangle—can be put on or taken off easily
- Masks come in a pack of 10—so stock up now!
