Are you experiencing pressure or burnout? You might need a day for some relaxing fun. I call it “Me Time” and I take a day once in a while to just relax and do something fun for myself. Then, the next day, I can come back to my work stronger and with renewed focus and concentration.

When is it time to take a break?

You’re Exhausted—is your body screaming for rest? If you are feeling overwhelmed and can’t face another day of work, it’s time for tension relief. Take a day off and spend it with friends and family or spend the day in bed sleeping.

You Need to Relax—Sometimes you just need something to do to allow your mind to relax. Take a walk in nature, do some yoga poses, read a book or just spend a day on the couch to watch your favorite TV shows. There are lots of things to do to relax your mind and body.

You Need Some Fun—Need a change of scenery? Plan your day off with your best friend and go to a movie, take a crafts class together, or take a day trip outside of your town and explore a new place. Sometimes a 1-day holiday is all your really need.

Don’t feel guilty for taking a day off once in awhile. You deserve it!
