So, you decided to eat healthier and add more fish to your diet. You saw a package of canned sardines in the grocery aisle and picked it up. Then it sat on the pantry shelf, mocking you for weeks, maybe months, before you finally decided to try it.
The same thing happened to me, until I finally just dove in and tried them. I searched the internet for recipes and compiled 50 of the most common ways to eat them into this little recipe journal. I scoured through comments made by everyday people, from young to old-timers, who wrote in on various forums and websites sharing how they ate sardines.
Then I set up 50 Ways to Eat Canned Sardines Recipe Journal with a recipe on one page and room on the next page for me to write if I liked the recipe or not, and what changes I made to it, if any.
So, be adventurous! Try one recipe at a time, and on the following page write your own notes, your likes and dislikes, and what changes you made or would like to make the next time. Make the changes that are best for you and your body.
Feeling more adventurous? I’ve left a few back pages blank for you to make up your own recipes, too! There are no set recipes or ingredients or rules. It is definitely all about personal taste. So, just experiment and play around with trying new ways and make up your own recipes as you get accustomed to what you like.
